Product Description<\/h2>\n

G42 brings the CV joint constant-velocity advantage to the S42 torque class \u2014 1,400 Nm at 540 rpm at angles up to 80 degrees. The 42×104.5 mm cross kit in G42 is unique to this series; workshop tooling (pressing fixtures, snap-ring pliers) sized for the 42 mm pin is required for G42 service. This tooling is not shared with any lower G Series model. For workshops adding G42, tooling investment is a prerequisite.<\/p>\n

G42 occupies the torque gap between G7 (970 Nm) and G50 (1,905 Nm) in wide-angle CV joint configuration, equivalent to S42’s position in the standard-cardan S Series range. It is specified where S9 is at its torque limit and S10 tube OD is too large for the implement housing \u2014 now with the additional requirement of high-angle CV joint operation.<\/p>\n

The G Series CV joint allows operation at angles up to 80 degrees at the tractor end — more than three times the 25-degree limit of standard T, L, and S Series cardan joints.
