T7N carries identical torque ratings to T7 but uses a narrow-profile tube for specific European implement input shaft geometries. The cross kit is 35×94 mm — entirely different from T7’s 30.2×106.5 mm. T7N and T7 cross kits are completely non-interchangeable. T7N occupies a specific OEM-driven niche. The narrow tube profile was introduced by European implement manufacturers — most notably in certain Krone and Claas baler and mower-conditioner models — to accommodate input shaft housings with tighter radial clearances than the standard T7 tube allows. In Brazil, imported Krone and Claas machinery has been present for over two decades, and the T7N replacement requirement has grown as these machines age into the high-hours replacement cycle.
Ever-Power Drive Line stocks both T7 and T7N independently, with clearly differentiated part numbers, to prevent field substitution errors that are common when importers combine these two series in a single stock SKU. The T7N cross kit (7N.01, 35×94 mm) differs from the T7 cross kit in both pin diameter and journal length. Buyers ordering replacement cross kits must specify the exact series and confirm the existing shaft tube profile before ordering. Sealed Greaseable Cross Kits
Sealed needle rollers with grease nipple on each cross arm. Service interval extends to 50 hours in normal soil conditions.
UV-Stabilised HDPE Shield
Yellow HDPE bellows UV-stabilised for tropical and subtropical environments. Spring-clip anchors with integrated safety chain attachment points.
Multi-Profile Yoke Compatibility
1-3/8 inch Z6 (540 rpm), 1-3/4 inch Z20 (1,000 rpm), 1-3/8 inch Z21 all stocked and interchangeable within the same shaft series.

Torque and Series Selection
Identify PTO rated torque from tractor manual. Select T Series where rated Nm exceeds PTO torque by 20% or more.
Shaft Length Adjustment
With implement at full height: verify 50 mm min tube overlap. At lowest position: verify 80 mm overlap. Cut to length once confirmed.
Yoke Attachment Procedure
Align spline and slide yoke to full engagement until push-pin locks. Test retention by pulling toward tractor. Bolt-clamp: torque to spec.
Safety Chain Connection
Route chain from each shield end bracket to a fixed, non-rotating point. Prevent shield rotation without loading chain during lift.
Lubrication Schedule
Pre-grease all cross-kit nipples with EP2 before operation. 8-hour regrease intervals normal use; halve in sandy or waterlogged soils.
