Series 9 Z20 covers the upper end of 1,000 rpm PTO applications on 75\u2013100 hp tractors. The 41\u00d7108 mm cross-kit seat is identical to Series 9 Z6. The Z20 20-spline bore is identified by counting 20 splines \u2014 distinct from Z6 (6 splines) by count and from Z21 (21 splines) by count and by the larger bore diameter (1-3\/4″ vs 1-3\/8″).<\/p>\n

Identifying a Z20 stub is simple: count 20 splines on the tractor PTO stub, or measure the major diameter at 1-3\/4″ (44.5 mm). The Z20 is physically larger than the Z6 stub \u2014 the size difference is visible without measuring. A Z20 yoke cannot engage a Z6 stub and vice versa, making incorrect fitment physically impossible.<\/p>\n
