G5 is the equivalent of T5 and L5 in constant-velocity form \u2014 same 30.2×80 mm cross kit, same 35 kW \/ 590 Nm at 540 rpm rating, but with the CV joint replacing the standard cardan joint at the tractor end. G5 is the most widely specified G Series model, covering the dominant 35\u201355 hp tractor class where front-mounted discbine and mower-conditioner applications are most prevalent.<\/p>\n

The 30.2 mm cross-kit pin diameter family is the largest cross-kit group in agricultural PTO shafts \u2014 shared across G5, G6, G7, T5, T6, T7, L5, and L6. Workshop tooling for this pin diameter serves the entire family. G5 cross kits are identical to T5 and L5 (30.2×80 mm) \u2014 these cross kits are interchangeable across G5, T5, and L5, simplifying spare parts inventory for workshops servicing multiple series.<\/p>\n

The G Series CV joint allows operation at angles up to 80 degrees at the tractor end — more than three times the 25-degree limit of standard T, L, and S Series cardan joints.
