S6 is the entry model of the Ever-Power Drive Line S Series — a star tube cardan shaft delivering 830 Nm at 540 rpm through a 30.2×92 mm cross kit. The star (six-pointed) tube profile is the identifying feature of the S Series: its six-lobe cross-section provides higher torsional rigidity per unit outer diameter than either triangular or lemon profiles, making it the preferred choice for implement OEMs that specify star-bore input housings on their high-torque compact designs.
The 30.2 mm cross-kit pin diameter in S6 is shared with S7 (different journal length: 106.5 mm vs 92 mm) — the same bearing cup and needle roller assembly applies to both, simplifying cross-kit stocking for distributors running both models. S6 and L6 share the same cross-kit dimensions (30.2×92 mm), but the tube profile is different: S6 uses a star bore, L6 uses a lemon profile. These series are not interchangeable at the implement input housing.
S6 is stocked for immediate dispatch in standard stock lengths. S6 star tube is specified by several European round baler OEMs for their 55–70 hp compact models. The star profile fits star-bore implement input housings that exclude both lemon and triangular tube geometry.
Mower-Conditioners
Disc mower-conditioner main drive on 50–65 hp tractors. The star tube provides maximum rigidity at the 30.2 mm cross-kit diameter, reducing deflection under high flywheel inertia loads.
High-Capacity Fertiliser Spreaders
Large twin-disc spreaders with impeller drive. Continuous 830 Nm at 540 rpm within the compact star tube footprint — matched to European OEM spreader input shaft specifications.

Engage Yoke Connections
Push-pin yoke: engage at PTO stub and confirm audible click and positive retention. Clamp yoke: torque to manufacturer specification.
Anchor Safety Chains
Connect tractor-side chain to guard or frame; implement-side chain to implement body. Verify taut at working height.
Grease Before First Use
Apply EP2 lithium complex NLGI 2 grease (2–3 pumps) to both cross-kit nipples. Service every 8 hours; 4 hours in wet or abrasive conditions.
