Overview
Product Description
Series 32 Clamp Bolt Splined Yoke provides the interfering clamp bolt connection at the 32×76 mm cross-kit class — the transitional series between the 30.2 mm family (Series 5/6/7) and the 35 mm family (Series 8). Series 32 is specified for European OEM implement housings requiring the 32 mm bore diameter at this torque class, particularly on compact round balers and hay equipment where the clamp bolt provides the permanent connection required for OEM factory fitment.
The Series 32 clamp bolt yoke uses the same 32×76 mm cross kit as the L32 and S32 drive shaft assemblies. For distributors stocking Series 32 drive shafts alongside the clamp bolt yoke, one cross-kit part number (32.01) covers all three variants. The clamp bolt locking mechanism on Series 32 is identical in principle to other series — an interfering bolt that engages the spline bore wall when tightened.
Series 32 is a lower-volume transitional series. Confirm stock availability before committing to a delivery timeline. Contact Ever-Power Drive Line for current stock levels.
Clamp Bolt Locking Mechanism — Installation Procedure
The interfering clamp bolt bites into the spline bore wall when tightened, creating a mechanically locked connection independent of any spring element.
Clean and Align
Clean the spline bore and PTO stub. Align the yoke spline bore with the stub splines. Slide the yoke fully onto the stub until it is completely seated — no gap between yoke face and stub shoulder.
Insert and Hand-Tighten Bolt
Insert the clamp bolt through the yoke clamp collar. Hand-tighten until the bolt contacts the spline bore wall. Do not use impact tools at this stage — the bolt must be guided in straight.
Torque to Specification
Use a calibrated torque wrench. Tighten to 25–30 Nm for Series 1–5; 35–45 Nm for Series 6–8. Inspect and retorque at first 10 hours, then every 50 hours in high-vibration duty.
⚠ Clamp Bolt vs Quick Release — Choose the Right Locking Type
Clamp bolt: Use when the yoke remains connected for the season — OEM factory-fit, high-vibration implements, applications where removal requires tools by design. Quick release: Use when daily connect/disconnect is required. The cross-kit and dimensional specifications are identical between both variants at Series 32.
Dimensional Drawing — A / B / C / D Reference
A = Overall length | B = Cross pin diameter | C = Yoke width | D = Bore diameter. Refer to the compatibility table above for exact mm values.

Key Features
Interfering Clamp Bolt Lock
The bolt threads into the yoke clamp collar and bites into the spline bore wall when tightened, creating a mechanically interlocked connection. Unlike a spring-loaded push-pin, the clamp bolt connection does not depend on any spring element — there is no spring to fatigue, no collar to wear, and no retention pin to lose in field conditions.
High Vibration Resistance
The bolt-secured connection maintains its clamping force under sustained vibration loads that cycle a push-pin spring mechanism. Specified for rotary cutters, forage harvesters, and high-duty-cycle implements where vibration fatigue is a concern over 300+ hour operating seasons. Retorque inspection at 50-hour intervals ensures sustained clamping force.
1-3/8″ Z6 Spline Bore
Standard 540 rpm agricultural interface — fits all Z6 PTO stubs worldwide. Induction-hardened spline bore for long-term engagement durability.
32×76 mm Cross-Kit Seat
Precision-machined cross-kit bearing cup bores hardened to accept 32 mm pin diameter needle-roller cross-kit cups. Cross kit (code 32.01) is shared with the Quick Release version at Series 32 — one part number covers both variants.
20CrMnTi Forged Steel Body
Drop-forged chromium-manganese-titanium alloy steel yoke body, normalised and induction-hardened at the bearing seat bores. Phosphate surface coating provides corrosion resistance in outdoor agricultural conditions. Clamp bolt collar is machined integral with the yoke body — no separate clamp ring to lose or misalign.
CE Certified — LGPD Ready
CE Declaration of Conformity and ISO 9001:2015 documentation included with every shipment. LGPD data handling compliance for Brazil import submissions. SGS third-party inspection available for contract orders.
Typical Applications
Series 32 CB Z6 — permanent-mount tractor-end connection for 50–75 hp implements
Compact Round Baler — European OEM
Series 32 clamp bolt is factory-fitted on compact European round baler drivelines specifying the 32 mm bore diameter for permanent tractor-end connection.
Hay Equipment — Transitional Series
Hay tedder and rake drives requiring the 32 mm cross-kit class with clamp bolt permanent connection for seasonal operation.
OEM Replacement — 32 mm Bore
Direct replacement for original clamp bolt yokes on European OEM implements specifying the 32×76 mm cross kit with interfering clamp bolt.
Installation Steps
Verify Series and Spline
Confirm your PTO shaft is Series 32 (32×76 mm cross kit) and your tractor PTO stub is Z6 (1-3/8″ 6-spline). Count the splines to confirm.
Clean Stub and Bore
Remove all rust, debris, and old lubricant from both the PTO stub and the yoke spline bore. Clean mating surfaces ensure maximum contact area and correct bolt seating.
Slide and Seat Yoke
Align splines and push the yoke fully onto the stub until the yoke face contacts the stub shoulder. Full seating is essential before bolt tightening — a partially seated yoke will not lock correctly.
Torque the Clamp Bolt
Insert the clamp bolt and tighten with a calibrated torque wrench to 25–30 Nm (Series 1–5) or 35–45 Nm (Series 6–8). Do not use impact tools. Verify bolt is fully threaded before torquing.
Anchor Shield and Inspect
Connect the shaft safety shield chains to non-rotating points on tractor and implement. Inspect the bolt after the first 10 hours of operation and retorque to specification. Reinspect every 50 hours in high-vibration duty.
Frequently Asked Questions
- —Use clamp bolt when the yoke will remain connected for an entire season or longer — it does not require daily disconnection
- —Use clamp bolt for high-vibration applications where push-pin spring fatigue is a concern
- —Use clamp bolt for OEM factory-fit applications where removal requires a wrench by design
- —Use quick release when the yoke is connected and disconnected frequently — daily implement changes
- —Series 32 cross kit: 32×76 mm, code 32.01
- —Identical to the Series 32 Quick Release yoke — one cross kit covers both variants
- —Available from the Cross Kit product page
- —Standard bolt torque: 25–30 Nm for series 1–5; 35–45 Nm for series 6–8
- —Always torque to specification — under-torqued bolts allow yoke movement; over-torqued bolts can crack the yoke body
- —Inspect and retorque at 50-hour intervals for high-vibration applications
