T3 marks the entry into mid-range with the cross kit stepping to a 27 mm pin diameter. This is the most commonly specified series for mid-size compact tractors operating rotary mowers in South America. The 27×70 mm cross kit provides a substantial torque jump over T2, making T3 the minimum safe choice for any implement with a flywheel or significant inertia mass. The T3 PTO Drive Shaft is the threshold series where quality differentiation becomes immediately visible in field operation. Inferior market shafts in the T3 class commonly fail at the cross-kit bearing cups within one season of rotary mowing.
