Product Description
T9 uses the 41 mm cross-kit pin diameter — the largest in the T Series, shared with T10 — with a 108 mm journal delivering 1,560 Nm at 540 rpm and 2,800 Nm peak. T9 occupies a premium market segment where quality differentiation is most commercially significant. Contractors operating 120+ hp forage systems cannot afford shaft downtime during a harvest window. Ever-Power Drive Line T9 shafts are built to the same specification as European OEM supply, with sealed cross kits rated for continuous high-torque, high-speed loading. At the T9 torque level, the selection of a matched torque limiter becomes operationally critical — a forage harvester generating a 2,800 Nm peak during a crop slug without a limiter transmits the full peak directly to the tractor gearbox and rear axle.
T9 shafts in Brazil are primarily used in large commercial hay and silage operations in the south using 120–140 hp tractors with large balers or forage harvesters, and high-capacity centre-pivot irrigation systems where pump input power exceeds T8 capacity. The irrigation pump segment is growing in Mato Grosso and Goias as water-stressed crop production requires more intensive supplemental irrigation. Installation and Maintenance
Attach safety chain to a fixed non-rotating point on both tractor and implement
Confirm Series Rating
Match tractor PTO output torque at working RPM. Add 20% margin for shock loads. Check cross-kit seat diameter against yoke.
Verify Shaft Length
At max implement height: 50 mm inner tube engagement min. At min height: 80 mm min. Adjust before fitting.
Fit and Lock Yokes
Slide splined yoke onto PTO stub to push-pin engagement. Pull back lightly to confirm lock. Torque bolt-clamp yokes to spec.
Secure Safety Chains
Attach one chain end to tractor guard, other to implement frame. Taut but not load-bearing during normal articulation.
Grease at Installation
Apply 2–3 pumps EP2 grease at each cross-kit nipple before first use. Re-grease every 8 operating hours in the field.
