Product Description

L6 is the highest-torque model in the standard lemon tube series that shares the 30.2 mm cross-kit pin diameter with L5. The journal extension from 80 mm (L5) to 92 mm (L6) increases the bearing load distribution area and raises continuous torque from 590 Nm to 800 Nm at 540 rpm. For equipment specifiers, L6 is the last lemon tube option before stepping up to the wider 35 mm pin diameter of L32.

L6 is specified by several major European round baler and mower-conditioner OEMs as the standard shaft for their 55–70 hp models. These implement housings are designed for the lemon tube outer diameter and will not accommodate the equivalent T6 triangular tube without modification. If your implement manual or OEM parts book specifies series L6, do not substitute T6 — the tube outer diameters are not compatible at the implement input housing.

The lemon (elliptical) tube profile reduces the outer diameter of the telescoping assembly relative to triangular-tube T Series at the same torque class. Fits European OEM implement input housings that exclude triangular tube geometry.
