T1 is the entry-level series covering compact and sub-compact tractors in the 10–20 hp class. Cross kit 1.01 (22×54 mm) is the smallest in the T Series range, making T1 the correct choice for lightweight implements where a larger series would add unnecessary weight and cost. In the South American small-farm market, compact tractors in the 10–20 hp class drive a wide variety of implements including tillers, seeders, and small spreaders. The T1 PTO Drive Shaft is built to the same quality standard as the rest of the Ever-Power Drive Line T Series, with sealed IP67 cross-kit bearings and a CE-marked HDPE safety shield supplied as standard. Open cross-kit T1 shafts from lower-quality sources commonly fail within 150 hours in tilling applications due to soil ingress at the bearing seals. The sealed specification on this shaft consistently extends service life beyond 400 hours under the same conditions.
T1 is the only series in the T range where shaft dynamic balance becomes a meaningful factor at 540 rpm due to the short compressed lengths typical of compact tractor hitch geometries. Installation and Maintenance
Attach safety chain to a fixed non-rotating point on both tractor and implement
Confirm Series Rating
Match tractor PTO output torque at working RPM. Add 20% margin for shock loads. Check cross-kit seat diameter against yoke.
Verify Shaft Length
At max implement height: 50 mm inner tube engagement min. At min height: 80 mm min. Adjust before fitting.
Fit and Lock Yokes
Slide splined yoke onto PTO stub to push-pin engagement. Pull back lightly to confirm lock. Torque bolt-clamp yokes to spec.
Secure Safety Chains
Attach one chain end to tractor guard, other to implement frame. Taut but not load-bearing during normal articulation.
Grease at Installation
Apply 2–3 pumps EP2 grease at each cross-kit nipple before first use. Re-grease every 8 operating hours in the field.
