Overview
Product Description
T7 is the highest series sharing the 30.2 mm cross-kit pin diameter with T5 and T6, with a 106.5 mm journal length raising peak torque to 1,800 Nm. T7 is specified for the demanding combination of high continuous torque and high shaft speed seen in large balers and mower-conditioners on 60–80 hp tractors. For the full T Series PTO drive shaft range, see our category page.
T7 shafts are frequently specified by OEM implement manufacturers as the default driveline on baler and mower-conditioner models for 60–80 hp tractors. Many European baler and forage conditioner brands specify T7 as their standard drive shaft, creating a significant aftermarket requirement in Brazil as European equipment ages into the replacement cycle. Ever-Power Drive Line supplies T7 on an OEM custom-length basis to implement builders in Brazil and Argentina, with drawing-approval process and first-article inspection as standard.
T7 is the highest series in the standard T range for which Ever-Power Drive Line holds spot stock in Brazil-focused distribution. T8, T9, and T10 are available on standard lead times but are less commonly held in regional buffer stock. This positioning means T7 replacement orders can be fulfilled faster than upper-series equivalents — commercially important for contractors who cannot predict shaft failure timing relative to their harvest schedule. Full CE, ISO 9001, and TS/16949 documentation for Brazil INMETRO and LGPD compliance. For technical enquiries, contact Ever-Power Drive Line.

Key Features
Heat-Treated Yoke Forgings
Alloy steel drop-forgings, shot-blasted and heat-treated. Fatigue life exceeds 1 million cycles at rated torque in field conditions.
Triple-Lip Sealed Cross Joints
Triple-lip internal seals block water, mud, and crop debris. Factory-greased EP2 lithium complex grease. Extended regreasing intervals.
OECD Code 4 Safety Shield
Bellows-style HDPE guard meets OECD Code 4 and CE Machinery Directive. Integrated chain anchor brackets at both shield ends.
Push-Pin Quick-Release Yokes
1-3/8 inch Z6 push-pin yoke standard; 1-3/4 inch Z20 and bolt-clamp options stocked. Lever-release for fast implement changes.
Custom OEM Manufacturing
Non-standard lengths and alternative yoke profiles manufactured to customer drawing. First-article approval process standard.
Traceable Quality Records
Dimensional inspection records, torque test samples, and paint adhesion verification per batch. Full traceability for import compliance.
Typical Applications
Large Round and Square Balers
Heavy baling duty on 60–80 hp tractors. T7 is a common OEM specification on European baler models for this power class.
Forage Conditioners
Mower-conditioner roller drive at high speed and high cycle rate. T7 provides correct fatigue margin for continuous conditioning roller operation.
Agricultural Pump Stations
High-capacity pump drive for continuous 540 or 1,000 rpm. T7 suitable for 55–75 kW pump units in large-scale irrigation systems.
Installation and Maintenance
Attach safety chain to a fixed non-rotating point on both tractor and implement
Select the Correct Series
Use the torque table to select the series rated above your PTO output by at least 20%. Verify cross-kit size matches yoke seats.
Check Working Lengths
Connect implement and raise to max height. Inner tube must overlap outer by 50 mm min. Lower: check 80 mm engagement remains.
Install Yoke Connections
Push splined yoke fully onto tractor PTO; push-pin clicks into groove. Pull rearward to confirm retention. Repeat at implement end.
Attach Shield Retention Chains
Connect both shield-end chains to fixed points on tractor and implement. Taut enough to prevent rotation, with slack for movement.
Initial and Periodic Greasing
2–3 pumps EP2 per cross-kit nipple at installation. Regrease every 8 hours; every 4 hours in wet or abrasive conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
- —Check the operating torque table for the Nm rating at your PTO speed
- —Your series must be rated above the implement’s maximum demand by at least 20%
- —If in doubt, size up — running an undersized shaft causes premature cross-kit failure
